Maurizio Abate is an Italian guitarist who has been active since the early 2000s, known for his experimental and instinctive approach to music. His sonic exploration spans electroacoustic improvisation, ambient music, and psychedelic experimentation, with a particular fondness for stringed instruments. Since 2006,he has released numerous albums both as a solo artist and in
collaborative projects, working with artists such as Kawabata Makoto (Acid Mother Temple), John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), and Takehisa Kosugi, and contributing to more than 30 albums released by international independent labels.
